For the last 15 years I have been documenting the transformation of Barcelona’s Poble Nou and the urban regeneration prompted by the development of the 22@ technological district.

During this time I have built a comprehensive portfolio of iconic images of many the projects that were built afterwards. A long term project which I began to shoot on a large format film camera, though I later moved onto digital. 

The Cities Program department at the London School of Economics headed by Ricky Burdett curated the initial series for an exhibition at the X Architecture Venice Biennale.

Workshops Barcelona : Architecture Photography Masterclass with Iñigo Bujedo-Aguirre

¿Are you a student of photography, architecture or interior design?. Perhaps you are a professional architect or interior designer, or just a passionate amateur photographer visiting Barcelona. This masterclass is suitable for anyone who is enthusiastic about photography and has a keen interest in the city as a playground for visual exploration.

The 1 day Masterclass offers the chance to work with me both on-location (3 hours in the morning), taking photographs as we will visit some of the most interesting contemporary buildings in the city.  Followed by a lunch break and an afternoon session (3 hours) of review and postproduction work in my studio space located in the heart of La Ribera in Barcelona. 
The  images produced in the morning will be downloaded, edited, processed and retouched to complete a final collection of photographs. The masterclass will offer the opportunity to experience first hand the working and thinking process behind my architectural photography work as well as to understand the importance of addressing the issue of developing a personal visual narrative that leaves an imprint in your work. Groups will be limited to no more than 4 people at a time.

The Instituto Tomi Ohtake in Sao Paulo

The Instituto Tomi Ohtake in Sao Paulo has formally invited me to be part of a photography Exhibition which wil open next June. A selection of my photographs of Lina Bo Bardi will be exhibited.
Instituto Tomie Ohtake is a cultural center based in São Paulo, Brazil. For the last 10 years they have shown exhibitions of art, photography,design and architecture from Brazil and international specially from 1950s
to now.

SESC Pompeia 30 years

Celebration of 30 years of the SESC Pompeia in Sao Paulo by Lina Bo Bardi. 

A Book edited by Marcelo Ferraz will be presented featuring 10 of my photographs of the amazing building. 

Furthermore someof those images will be display on a commemorative exhibition.

La Paz, Bolivia January 2009 by Philip Muller

Philip Muller and I met on a boat, heading back from the

"Isla del Sol" right in the middle of lake Titicaca, where we had been all day. Pablo Olivares and Sebastian Rusca, two Argentineans from Cordoba were also there. We became acquainted and we got on so well that we decided to make our way down to the border and we all spent about 5 days together.

I do retain very fond memories from all of them and the of time we shared together.

Back in La Paz, Philip - a photographer from Belgium who lives in Chile working for various Surf magazines and publications -

and I decided to go for a long walk around the city of La Paz.

We ended up in one of the "miradors" from which one can have a magnificent view of the city. Truly impressive as it is the arrival from El Alto.

One can never forget the sheer emotion of seeing the andean city as it appears when the road opens into the valley.

Philip took this photograph of me before the football stadium where nobody manages to score a win.

Apart form the bolivians of course.

The lack of oxygen makes almost impossible to move and the simplest of efforts is exhausting.

So though we had to chew coca leaves, we finally made it to the very top. It was simply wonderful. ( The image below...I took it)
