This is a video of the final day when we were working against the clock to have the final selection of images for the slide show that was scheduled for that very evening at the CCCB. Derek Schultz who was part of the group took the time to film and edit it and has shared it with us.

Magnum Workshop Barcelona: Mark Power published by Blurb

As part of the program within the workshops Magnum had agreed with Blurp that they would publish a book showing the final selection of images for each one of the workshops. Fotointerpreta. Trafic BCN 2009

Estas fotografías realizadas por Juana Furió fueron tomadas durante la revisión de portfolios del último Fotointerpreta. En éllas aparezco charlando con Jordi Cohen mientras vemos sus fotos de Haití. Despues se ve momentos de la deliberación final junto a Consuelo Bautista, Manel Armengol, Miguel Trillo, Manel Esclusa, Nuria Andreu Faustí Llucià.

La ironía de todo ello es que mi teléfono no paraba de sonar y es que mietras tratábamos de decidir quién sería el ganador, Karl de Keyzer trataba de hacer la foto del grupo del taller con Mark Power, pero faltaba yo. Queda por tanto explicado porqué aparezco tan raro (ver Mark Power´s group by Tomaz Crnej ).

Not many people would recognize me but I can assure you that those ears as well as the image in the background are mine.

I have to say that I was heart broken because this picture was taken when as a member of the jury I was deliberating about the winner of this year´s Foto Interpreta. Anne kept on ringing me but I could not answer or leave the room I was in. All the group was having such fun and taking group pictures which I obviously missed. But thankfully Photoshop and Tomaz have made wonders and I am now back in where I should have been in the first place
